Cookie Policy
Last updated September 29, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how MetaSurvey (“Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our websites at https://getmetasurvey.com, https://app.getmetasurvey.com, https://public.getmetasurvey.com, https://feedback.getmetasurvey.com (collectively “Websites”). It explains what these technologies are, which ones we use, and why.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, to work more efficiently, and to provide reporting information.
Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, MetaSurvey) are called “first-party cookies.” Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called “third-party cookies.” The parties that set these third-party cookies can recognize your computer both when it visits the website in question and also when it visits certain other websites.
Do we ask for consent?
No. We do not show a consent prompt on our Websites. Analytics and referral cookies described below are set as soon as you visit, unless your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When GPC is on, we load no analytics at all and set none of these cookies.
What cookies do we use?
We keep this list limited to the cookies our Websites actually set. Cookies set by our payment, feedback, and account providers on their own domains are described in their own policies.
Analytics
Set on every visit unless Global Privacy Control is on.

Referral attribution
Picabon is our own affiliate platform. When you arrive through an affiliate link, it stores a random identifier so the affiliate who referred you is credited if you subscribe. It contains no information about you beyond the visit itself. Nothing is set if there is no referral code in the link.

Embedded content and reviews
The marketing site embeds our own survey widget and a Google reviews widget. These run on our and our providers’ infrastructure as part of displaying that content and do not set additional cookies on the marketing site.
How can I control cookies on my browser?
As the means by which you can refuse cookies through your web browser controls vary from browser to browser, you should visit your browser’s help menu for more information. The following is information about how to manage cookies on the most popular browsers:
In addition, most browsers offer a “Do Not Track” or “Tracking Protection” setting. Where a browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honour it and load no analytics.
If you would rather we did not set analytics cookies in your browser, blocking cookies for getmetasurvey.com in your browser settings is enough. That also disables the referral cookie, which means an affiliate who referred you is not credited if you subscribe.
How often will we update this Cookie Policy?
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please therefore revisit this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies.
The date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last updated.
Where can I get further information?
If you have any questions about our use of cookies or other technologies, please email us at privacy@getmetasurvey.com.
