Custom domain

To set up a custom domain for your survey, you can either use a different domain for each survey or the same one for multiple surveys.

Here's how to do it:

Navigate to your survey and go to the Sharing section.
Switch on the Custom domain option.
Enter your subdomain in the field below:
Find the DNS zone of your domain provider and add a CNAME record that points to the customers.getmetasurvey.com.

Proxy status has to be a DNS only!

Example settings for domain survey.mycompany.com:
Click the verify button. If you see an error that your domain hasn't yet been verified, it means the DNS is being updated, and this can take up to 24 hours.
After verifying the custom domain, you'll see the updated survey link includes your domain. Your old survey link will operate too.
Once you've set up your custom domain, you can use the new survey link to share it with your respondents!

(!) Please note that it may take a few minutes for your domain to generate an SSL certificate. To verify the installation, consider opening a new survey link in a new tab or using incognito mode.
